Team Passion Excellence

A century-old establishment, created in 1914, the Paul Augier hotel and tourism trades high school has always placed the values of excellence , precision , modernity , elegance and innovation at the heart of its teaching.

Students, supervised by the teaching team, have always taken part in numerous competitions :

General trade competition, Young Coffee Professional Malongo, Kikkoman, Capelina d'or, "one of the best apprentices in France", "egg and brunch", ...

 

And the idea naturally emerged to organize and structure this support by creating a

“competition center” Team Passion-Excellence

Mr. Descoings, Mr. Lesage and Mr. Leyris have decided to name this competition center Team Passion-Excellence.

in order to convey the values of the high school, as well as the importance of teamwork and sharing in this dynamic of progression and self-improvement .

Beyond the student-teacher relationship, the competitions help develop relationships between the school and the professional environment.

An annual event will highlight the work of all the students involved in this process, with awards ceremonies. : a participation prize for each student, a merit prize awarded by a professional personality or a former student, the Principal's prize.

The experience of a competition is an accelerator of knowledge both professionally and personally. Mr. Denis Férault, headmaster and Meilleur Ouvrier de France in the Maître d'hôtel category, provides his full support and his testimony of a unique and extraordinary experience in competitions, in order to make concrete the effort of working for excellence. Noëmie Honiat, renowned chef and former student, joins this adventure, and is our sponsor for the launch of this center.

OUR AMBITIONS

The ambitions are multiple and are developed in 5 points:

 

  • Structure and organize the activity

  • Teaching rigor in learning for excellence and self-improvement

  • Strengthen the link between the school and the professional environment by establishing occasional partnerships with professionals as judges during training sessions

  • Achieve the best results in order to continue to shine

TUTORING

Mentoring will allow us to collaborate with experienced professionals so that they can share their expertise during training sessions or as we work towards our next level. This will also strengthen the already strong connection between school and the workplace.

AN ANNUAL EVENT

  • During a cocktail dinner we will announce the results and present awards:

  • The participation price for all

  • The merit award presented by a recognized professional and/or a former student

  • Mr. Principal's Prize
