SELECTION CRITERIA FOR BTS MHR AND TOURISM STUDENTS – ERASMUS +

Our school upholds the values of fairness and openness, and strives daily to reduce its carbon footprint (we have been certified E3D since this year). These values therefore influence our policy of international openness.

Our aim is to enable each member of our community to benefit from international mobility grants and each of our students:

  1. to have the opportunity to complete an internship abroad,

  2. to integrate a period of study abroad into their academic curriculum.

However, if there are more applications than mobility grants, the applications will be reviewed by a Grants Allocation Committee (composed of members of the Management, CPE, professors and members of the International Commission). The following principles will be applied:

  1. Positive discrimination for applications from BTS Tourism students. Indeed, our BTS MHR students are already placed, fed, housed, and paid by the establishment hosting their internship. The school will contribute as much as possible to transportation costs, when these are green transportation (train, bus, boat).

The grants will be awarded as a priority to BTS Tourism students who have chosen an international training course and who present the “International Professionalization Course” option in their BTS exam,

  1. Taking into account the following criteria in the prioritization of files,

    • medical, social and economic criteria,

    • gender parity,

    • consistency with the professional project (the cover letter should be clear on this point),

    • motivation and attendance in class,

    • use of green transport.

A TRAINING PERIOD (INTERNSHIP) IN A EUROPEAN COUNTRY WITH ERASMUS +, A GREAT OPPORTUNITY

An internship abroad during your studies presents a valuable opportunity to seize. Discover other approaches and working methods, learn differently, and perfect your language skills...

You are a BTS student at the Paul Augier high school, thanks to the Erasmus + charter, you can do your internship in a European country and obtain a grant to carry out this mobility.

In addition to funding your stay abroad, Erasmus + allows you to enhance your experience and the skills acquired thanks to an official document, the Europass , which you can use in your job search or further studies anywhere in Europe.

How do you go about it?

- First, contact your teachers (your tutor, language teachers, technical and vocational subject teachers, etc.) to discuss your project. They will be able to help you find internship locations.

- Attention! The search for an internship is also and above all a personal process and we also advise you to prospect and contact the companies or organizations in which you would like to do your internship.

- Once you have found your internship location, contact Ms. Gouzien, International Relations Officer and Erasmus + representative for the school. You can contact her via the Atrium messaging system or at her email address claudie.gouzien@gmail.com . Ms. Gouzien will also be able to meet you on Thursdays, by appointment, at the International Relations Office (room N000), where she will explain all the steps to follow.
