A Label of Excellence for the Vocational Pathway

Our school has held the label
Lycée des Métiers of Tourism, Hospitality and Catering with an International Focus
since 2007.

The "Lycée des Métiers" label is awarded to schools whose management, initiatives, and projects meet the requirements of a specific set of criteria.

It serves as a mark of excellence for the vocational pathway through the implementation of an organized and collective approach to continuous improvement.

Its aim is to recognize and promote a strong team dynamic developed within the institution.

Excellence in the Vocational Pathway

What

A quality label for the vocational pathway,
a certification awarded by the French Ministry of National Education every five years.

Who

The vocational departments are recognized for their continuous improvement approach, their dynamism, and the strength of their partnerships.

How

A commission reviews the application file and supporting evidence, and conducts an on-site audit within the institution.
The label is awarded by decision of the Rector.

Why

It certifies that the school is committed to quality through a collective approach to continuous improvement, used as a management tool.
The label provides the school with a clear and visible identity and enhances its appeal.

The 8 Criteria of the Specifications

1. A vocational training offer built around a set of professions and training pathways

2. The admission of learners with different statuses

3. Tailored teaching methods and personalized training pathways

4. Active partnerships with the local economic network, nearby organizations, and partner institutions involved in vocational training, guidance, and professional integration

5. The organization of cultural activities

6. The implementation of initiatives aimed at international openness

7. The development and monitoring of actions to prevent school dropout and to support young people exercising their right to return to initial education

8. A proactive communication policy

The Qualéduc self-assessment approach encourages teamwork and enables schools to engage in the continuous improvement process required for the label.

Self-assessment sheets are specifically dedicated to each of the 8 criteria of the label.
